Usually every Friday I hit my local Goodwill. I was debating not to today because it was so hot (90º) and I was feeling lazy. I went anyway and I'm so glad I did.
I got some innocuous things like the poster frame, it's a professional frame job, it's in good shape and the glass is in tact. I can always use a good frame and the Bettie Page poster is cute, not sure I'll use it but who doesn't love Bettie? I got a glass jar for the kitchen and a handmade piece of pottery with an interesting gloss and matte black glaze.
(Sorry for the picture quality I was in a hurry to share this)
The real find was the blanket. I was on my second cruise of the textiles when I spotted it. A Pendleton Wool Yellowstone blanket for $5.99. Not only is that an amazing deal but especially for this Goodwill where blankets usually go between $12-$24. It was ridiculously hot in the store and the line was long and the 100% wool blanket made me earn this deal
I did a quick search and this design apparently was made for the Yellowstone buses in the 30's. I sent an email to the Pendleton folks to confirm this. If anyone has info let me know.
