Hi Thrift Collective!   Latest finds.  Reblogged from here.  I'm still in a bit of shock.

There are those times when the moons and stars are aligned and I come across an unbelievable find.  Yesterday, was one of those days.  I was "called" to one of my usual thrifts and after poking around for a bit I spotted this .....

A C. Jere signed Golden Gate Bridge Metal sculpture.  Yowza, it's nearly 5 feet long!!  I'm a fan of Jere and missed out on another a few months back.  If this was the Brooklyn Bridge I would most likely keep it but this one will be up for sale shortly.  Have a look at the finish below.  Super cool.

I found a few more finds along the way...

Metal shelf,  sandpiper, teak salt & pepper pigs  and a lucite wine rack (not pictured) followed.  Not a bad day at all.

Then today I spotted these in a Goodwill...

Um, HELLO, Dansk teak Peppermill! Not super rare or old but Dansk peppermills are always a good find and it still has the Dansk label on it.  Hallmark cast iron candle holder is a nice little find too.

Last stop...

That lamp!  I love this mid century lamp.  I'm not sure if you can really tell how lovely the glaze is from the photo but it is.  It's not signed but it is similar to a Martz Marshall Studios lamp.  (If you you are reading this and know anything about the lamp I would love to hear from you!) This one may be a keeper.   The little modernist glass angle candle holders are in perfect shape and perfect for this time of year.  I also found the little teak candle holders that are in front of the sandpiper above.  They were covered in wax and after a little bit of work they cleaned up nicely.  What is super neat about them is that they fit two different size candles in them.  One side holds the smaller size, flip them over and you can use a larger size candle.  So clever!

Thank you, thank you thrift gods!!
