Ummm Yes, these are Carebear Curtains....

Yes, these are Carebear Curtains... but not just that, these are the EXACT curtains I had in my bedroom as a child. When I saw these on my most recent lunchtime jaunt to Savers, I almost passed them up. I mean, what was I (a 28 year old professional) going to do with Carebear curtains, when I don't even have kids? In the end, I just couldn't leave without them. It would have nagged on me for a lifetime. I tell you what though, I smell a before and after post coming, because I am going to use these for something awesome... you just watch!

  1. I still have my rainbow bright sheets/bedspread/pillow shams. Why when they just sit in the closet? :D I need to take a picture and let go. I didn't even like the show, but I liked the colorful rainbow hued sheets.

Now, if I found some transformers sheets/curtains at the thrift store, I would snag on like a rabid wolverine and never let go! :)

  2. Aw...I think that's sweet. I would have done the exact same thing. Congratulations on finding them!
That's why we thrift--it's finding treasures like that. Yay, you! : )

  4. Those are WAY cool. I wish I had Care Bears sheets when I was younger. Or even now. Care Bears are awesome.

  5. Ana, while I agree that the Carebear cousins were not as cool as the Carebears themselves, we musn't forget what a big help they were in defeating that evil book spirit thing in the movie. Gotta give props when they're due. Word.

  7. I found a Care Bears flat sheet at a Goodwill over the holidays and snatched it up ridiculously fast - it is destined to become a quilt back for one of my little brothers...
