Update

I just updated the Seattle city guide to included two new stores I checked out this weekend.

I hope some of you are working on some in your areas, the Seattle one is getting all lonely!

I'm also considering making a space for people who would like to run ads for their vintage etsy shops. Let me know if any of you are interested.

  1. I have a nice list of thrift stores in Long Beach/Los Angeles on Yelp :-)

  2. You and I frequent many of the same stores! My wife and I live in West Seattle, and the Burien & Tukwila Goodwills are our regular thrifting spots... We're the ones chasing after Dansk, Digsmed, and all things Danish.... :)

  4. We hit the Everett South Goodwill this morning, as well as the Everett Goodwill Outlet; the Everett So. Goodwill is the cleanest I've ever seen; we also had some luck, although not as good as we usually have down @ the Tukwilla GW -- we left with a pair of danish candlesticks & a 50's diner napkin holder. The outlet was actually pretty clean as well, as far as they go; we scored a Globe Wernicke desk tray/organizer, an extendable teak lamp, and a few odds & ends.

The finds of the day, though, were a pair of Thonet armchairs & an Eames shell chair at an Everett estate sale. What to keep, what to sell.... it's the age old question.
